Naoko Tsuruta began her career as a jewelry designer and opened a jewelry gallery, “Natural Charisma” in 2005. Natural Charisma is named with the thought of creating the jewelry, of which designs bring out the originality and charm of each customer. In the same year, she opened "N.T.C
Workshop" in the same year. Having lived in Tokyo, New York, Germany, Austria and Hong Kong, and having traveled to more than forty countries around the world, her designs are dynamic and unique, inspired by her numerous multi-cultural experiences. She first came into contact with jewelry industry when she was chosen in a Japanese beauty pageant as the “Pearl Princess” while studying Art History at Sophia University. She was fascinated and captivated by the beauty of jewelry and thus decided to study jewelry design.
In 2009, she also launched her dress brand (mainly using Japanese Kimono fabric) “Naoko Tsuruta”. Being not only a jewelry designer and model after having been chosen as a finalist in "Miss Japan" contest, she also handles fashion, cosmetics, total life style advice and coordination.
